The ASG Sr. Network & Security Solutions Architects will represent SHI as the trusted advisor on all areas of Networking (i.e., routing / switching / load balancing / firewalls / etc. ) & Network Security (e.g., NGFW / VPN / NAC / SASE / etc.). They will possess skill sets related to analyzing, designing, and implementing Security, Cloud, and Data Center (on-prem / hybrid) Network services. This includes initiating and participating in projects comprised of both technical and non-technical team members. Consultants will possess excellent communication & collaboration skills and the ability to produce professional presentations intended to influence at all levels of an organization.
This position is a remote position with a home office setup as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Performs Implementation services that may include design, architecture analysis, deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and network engineering
Assists leadership with strategy and develops technical roadmaps for future Networking & Security services (e.g., Cisco, Palo, Fortinet - SDWAN, SSE, SASE, etc.)
Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on Customer projects/workshops and be accountable for the project outcomes
Collect, produce, and update deployment and design documentation
Develop, update, and continually improve Network & Security Service offerings
Act as a trusted advisor for our technical sales teams, assist with opportunity discovery, participate in customer solution/engagement scoping, and sales enablement efforts
Assist sales / pre-sales teams in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations
Identify , develop, and document best practices/recommendations (people/process/ technology), and assist with strategy & roadmap planning
Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and executive Customer stakeholders through written deliverables and verbal presentations
Evangelize SHI Network & Security Service Offerings across SHI and Partner community through webinars, meetups, and conferences
Develop reports, lessons learned, presentations, and supporting documentation for both Customer engagements and internal discussions
Stay current on new technology , trends, and market behavior by studying market trends and the industry landscape
Serve as a coach/mentor and guide other members of the team
Obtain applicable technical certifications, directed by annual professional development plans & leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Technical degree, or related work experience (Network Engineering / Computer Science)
Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
Minimum 5 years of experience consulting, designing, implementing, and integrating Cisco, Palo Alto an d Networking technologies (e.g., NGFW / SDWAN / SASE / etc.)
Combined experience as a Network Consultant, Operations, and Administration
Available to travel to client sites upon reasonable request
Required Skills
Proficiency with the design, implementation, and configuration of Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cloud networking & security solutions (e.g., NGFW / SSE / SASE).
Extensive experience in initiating and leading consultative network projects & initiatives
Excellent consultative skills in addressing networking and security challenges
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in consulting services
Cisco, Palo Alto – NGFW / SDWAN / SASE expertise
AWS / Azure / GCP Network & Security Knowledge
Certifications Required
Cisco
Palo Alto
Preferred Certifications:
Cisco – CCNA, CCNP , or CCIE
Palo Alto – PCNSE or PCNSC
Unique Requirements
Travel to customer sites, up to 30% annually
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
