Overview:

As a member of our Global Partnerships team, the Senior Director of Sales for OVG Media & Conferences will be responsible for managing the Media & Conferences team while driving top level new business revenue across our portfolio of assets. Suitable for the role are commercially aggressive professionals who have a track record in the sponsorship space of delivering both high value and low value deals with creative activation strategies intertwined. Strong candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, presentation skills, and high-level commercial relationships across North America amongst brands, agencies, and properties utilizing them to expand OVG’s business interests.  This position will work closely with both the National Sales and GOAL teams to create revenue generating initiatives, increase advertising sales, develop key industry relationships and continue to build our M&C Brands.  We are looking for hard-working individuals with a passion for music and live entertainment and a track record of success.

 

This role will pay a yearly salary of $160,000 to $185,000 and is bonus eligible.

This position will remain open until March 21, 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the SVP of Global Partnerships to develop a strategic plan to drive revenue for the M&C division
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team of sales professionals who are geographically spread across North America to achieve specific sales goals
  • Prospect, develop and sell print, sponsorship, and advertising inventory through integrated business partnerships with a solution-based approach
  • Ability to grow business and develop new revenue and product opportunities
  • Perform well in a competitive and collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Maintain constant contact with clients before, during, and after the sale to establish and positively manage the business relationship
  • Create and effectively maintain reporting documents in an organized manner; Develop and track new revenue pipeline to present to senior leadership, ownership, etc. on a regular basis.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all OVG properties, initiatives and be able to successfully compare with competitors.
  • Must have the ability to network and create relationships while working efficiently in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Responsible for achieving established sales goals and budgets as set by management
  • Must be able to work events 
  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
