Job Summary: We’re looking for an Associate Editor with strong writing skills for an industry-leading media brand that serves the remodeling market. The Associate Editor collaborates with the editorial team to identify and develop fresh content for Pro Remodeler’s website, print product, and social media platforms. Key responsibilities also include assisting in the planning and execution of events and other special programs, and networking with our audience. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about issues facing small businesses,and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Function:
- Research and produce content for Pro Remodeler
- Assist in obtaining speakers for Pro Remodeler’s conferences and events
- Create content and post to PR social media channels, primarily Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Produce PR’s daily and weekly e-newsletters
- Assist other editorial and design staff through layout and editing print cycles
- Travel up to four times per year to conferences, industry events, and trade shows
- Script, shoot, edit, and post videos to the brands’ YouTube channels when needed

- Detail oriented
- Self starter
Qualifications:
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency producing SEO-driven content
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency producing social media content that increases audience engagement
- Strong writing, editing, and interviewing skills
- Demonstrated proofreading/copyediting skills
- A degree in journalism, communications or related area and/or professional experience as a content producer preferred
We are excited to share that his position will be hourly, or non-exempt, and the base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
If you are hired for this position at Endeavor, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
