Job description

American farmers have made tremendous technology advancements through hardware improvements and investments in precision agriculture. However, when it comes to the back-office, most farms are decades behind, relying on spreadsheets, filing cabinets, and decades-old on-prem software to recruit, manage, and pay their workforce. Seso is addressing this problem by modernizing the back-office for the farm.

Our mission is to build the premier platform for agribusiness to hire and manage their workforce and improve the lives of agricultural workers. We are addressing American farmers’ biggest pain point - access to qualified labor - through a software-enabled labor solution that automates the H-2A visa. Our comprehensive HR platform streamlines and automates the hiring process for farms and seamlessly integrates their efforts across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and insurance while providing workers access to financial services for the first time.

As the Strategic Partnerships Lead - Insurance, you will play a critical role in driving Seso’s growth in the insurance sector. You will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and managing high-value partnerships across the insurance ecosystem, including carriers, brokers, and other key stakeholders. This position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to balance relationship management, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business goals. You will serve as the face of Seso at industry events, negotiate impactful agreements, and work closely with internal teams to ensure partnership success.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that offers the opportunity to directly contribute to Seso’s expansion into the insurance market.

Responsibilities:

Identifying Potential Insurance Partnerships

Proactively research and identify potential insurance carrier, broker and other ecosystem partners regionally and nationally, evaluating their market fit and potential for collaboration with Seso's insurance solutions
Develop prospecting strategies to increase opportunities for new partnerships

Relationship Building and Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at insurance carriers through outreach, networking, and regular communication to understand their business needs and pain points
Represent Seso at insurance industry events to elevate brand presence and build a strong network
Cultivate long-term relationships with partners to drive mutual success

Presenting Seso’s Value Proposition

Articulate Seso's insurance product suite, its competitive advantages and how it can benefit insurance carriers

Pipeline Management

Develop and manage a robust insurance partner pipeline by actively contacting prospects, scheduling appointments, qualifying opportunities, and ensuring timely follow-up
Build and maintain a database of partnership relationships and provide oversight to account activity

Skillset

5+ years experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, customer service or business development
2+ years partnership/channel management experience
2+ years experience in the insurance industry
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Prior experience in the tech industry a plus

Compensation:

$120,000k - $140,000 base plus variable bonus/commission
