Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatrist MD to join our a remote company You will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and psychotherapy.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, mental status examinations, and review of medical history.
Diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders according to the DSM-5.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both.
Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects.
Provide individual psychotherapy sessions to support patients in managing their conditions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as therapists, nurses, and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated care for patients.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in mental health treatment by attending conferences and workshops.

Qualifications

MD degree with a specialization in Psychiatry
Board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
Valid medical license in the state of practice
Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with a diverse population
