Role:

Head of Practice, Corporate Performance Management

Location:

  • Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
  • Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
  • Travel Expectations: 30-40%

What You’ll Do

As the CPM Head of Practice, you will be brought in at the Director level, report directly to the Head of North America and initially lead a team of ~15 consultants from Analyst through Director within the CPM practices. You will oversee all commercial through delivery activities and own strategy through execution to drive growth and profitability.

  • Define practice direction aligned with overall strategy and drive offering innovation.
  • Lead organic and inorganic growth efforts in collaboration with leadership.
  • Mitigate risks and sponsor continuous improvement initiatives.

For Our Alliance Partners

  • Identify and prioritize key partnerships, developing new alliances as needed.
  • Oversee partnership growth and manage relationships for channel success.
  • Represent the firm in joint activities and drive collaborative thought leadership.
  • Align partnership activities with joint strategic goals.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Performance Management or Enterprise Performance Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g. Practice Leader, Director, VP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling a CPM/EPM practice, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of managing large, cross functional teams and projects in corporate finance or enterprise performance management (EPM).
  • Deep expertise in EPM/CPM functional areas, including: close and consolidations; planning, budgeting & forecasting; capital planning; people planning and reporting & analytics.
  • Experience with CPM/EPM solutions such as OneStream, Oracle, Planful, Tagetik or SAP including the implementation, configurations and optimization for clients.
  • Experience managing strategic alliances with technology partners, ensuring alignment on business objectives and mutual growth.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Proven success in business development, building client relationships, and growing revenue within a consulting practice.
  • Experience in leading sales pursuits, proposals, and RFP responses for CPM/EPM projects.
