Seasonal Tax Preparer

starting at $37/hour + Incentives/Bonuses | 401K + Match

Associates: $37.00/hour

Credentialed Experts: $40.00/hour

Credentialed Experts must be an active Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

JDA TSG's Tax Services Group is hiring Seasonal Tax Prepaers for the upcoming season. If you have 2+ seasons of professional Tax Prep experience, enjoy helping people, and are happy to be onsite, in a co-working environment we would love to speak with you about joining our team!

An active PTIN is required to be eligible for this position.

Locations: 1003 Bishop Street and 500 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI

On a Typical Day, You Will

Provide superior customer support, helping customers prepare their income tax returns on site.
Create an excellent customer experience using your expertise in tax preparation and technical ability. A script will help guide your responses.
Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Carefully document all customer interactions.

What You Bring To The Role

2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software, including Professional tax software. Knowledge of TurboTax is strongly preferred.

W2 position starting at $40 per hour + benefits including 401K with a match, perks and other incentives.
Work from mid-January through April 16, 2025.

Equipment including laptop for the duration of employment. (You must also have access to a personal computer for your use.)
