Purchasing Specialist, Full-Time

Job Location: Calgary, Remote Work

Bye-bye reporting for duty at an office every day; this is a remote position (must be located in Alberta). What You’ll Be Doing

Use public listing sites to find cars that fit with our company needs.
Establish and maintain contact with suppliers and maintain adequate stock levels.
Conduct a valuation process to determine market value, negotiate prices and transportation arrangements with sellers/suppliers.
Meet with sellers to negotiate final purchase price while providing excellent customer service.
Work with accounting team for B2C payment.
Ensure delivery and intended disposition.
Assist with remarketing wholesale inventory - maintain accurate inventory counts, work with marketing to list units, assist in assessing vehicle value, maximizing return and time to market.

To succeed, we are looking for someone who:

Has experience and has a love for sales + buying - you've done this kind of thing before, and you have a knack for it
Purchasing/Procurement background? We'd love to talk!
We'll provide you with the training, but it would be great if you have the low-down of the buying, negotiation and pricing process.
We start our relationship from a place of trust, so we are looking for someone who is mature, is a self-starter and can work effectively on their own
We have an incredible cross-functional team that works together from multiple provinces, so we are looking for another champion with an awesome attitude to join the crew.
