DISTRICT SALES MANAGER, AUTOMOTIVE REPLACEMENT ITALY

What To Expect


As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Working in the field in the Center and South Italy and remotely from Italy, you will help us grow Gates presence in the Automotive Aftermarket business in Italy.


  • This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager with Automotive Aftermarket experience to strategically plan and execute sales actions to maximize our presence in your designated territory.
  • You will be responsible for keeping a pulse on the competitive landscape and customer needs, enabling you to present the unique advantages of Gates products.
  • You'll have the opportunity to develop and maintain strong connections with existing customers while identifying new opportunities.


Key Responsibilities (to Name a Few)


  • Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities
  • Promoting the introduction and sales of new products to distributors
  • Support distributors in creating service stock with efficiency analysis
  • Evaluating and monitoring competitor activities
  • Supporting distributors with coaching field-level at Ricambista and Installer level
  • Timely and accurate utilization of our CRM systems


About You


  • A degree in Economics, Commercial or Technician, high school diploma, or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years overall professional experience, including 3 within the automotive aftermarket environment.
  • Experience in selling Heavy Duty and Two Wheels products is appreciated.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and perseverance.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
  • A positive attitude and flexibility to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Geographical Base: Central or Southern Italy to ensure coverage of a broad territory while accommodating frequent travel.
  • Must be an Italian native speaker and fluent in English
