We’re looking for a Travel Supply Manager (f/m/x) to join our team and embark on this journey with us.

What is the role about?

• You will be responsible for identifying and signing the best suppliers for your responsible regions
• You will (re-)negotiate terms, monitor performance, enforce compliance with SLAs while fostering strong, long-term supplier relationships
• You will ensure Tourlane’s inventory is up to date and matches the customer’s needs by staying on top of the inventory landscape of the responsible regions
• You will work hand in hand with our Travel Experience, Tech and Product departments to differentiate Tourlane’s supply needs

 What will you need to be successful?

• You bring along 4+ years of professional experience as a contracting/purchasing manager at a bed bank, OTA, DMC or tour operator (expertise in EMEA or Americas are a plus)
• You are an influential communicator and you are able to manage stakeholders in different regions with different cultural preferences and customs
• You have hands-on experience in managing digital supply and implementing API-connectivity
• You are willing to travel to Berlin frequently

In addition, here are the skills we are looking for:

• Collaborative communicator: You keep stakeholders updated with your plans and progress. You engage suppliers in a collaborative way. 
• Methodical: You ensure clear processes are in place (e.g. for supplier selection) and document work thoroughly. You conduct research before making a recommendation. You are detail oriented. 
• Artful negotiator: You can confidently apply a range of tactics and techniques in negotiation to close deals with suppliers.You can apply sound judgement to assess terms and conditions of a deal. 
• Hands-on operator: You take end-to-end ownership of your tasks. You plan, execute and follow up on things until impact is delivered.
