Freelance Business Data Analyst

Remote

3 months, with the possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth or improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and gather information.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
Conduct data cleansing, validation, and integration to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Support strategic decision-making by providing actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
Identify and document business requirements, processes, and system improvements.
Work with databases, ETL tools, and analytics software to manipulate and interpret data.
Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Strong knowledge of database management and querying.
Experience with statistical tools (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly.
Familiarity with business process modeling and data visualization techniques.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of [specific industry] operations or data requirements (e.g., e-commerce, healthcare, finance).
Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
