Job description

Role Summary

Our client is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Vice President of HR and working closely with the HR Generalist, this role supports the Human Resources department in various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring smooth HR processes and compliance with company policies. This role involves employee record maintenance, assisting with onboarding, and providing support for employee relations, benefits, and compliance programs.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Provide operational support through the following tasks:
    • Schedule meetings and HR-related events
    • Prepare and distribute internal HR communications, such as memos and announcements
    • Maintain HR databases and ensure data accuracy
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, including document preparation and new hire orientation and training scheduling, including required compliance trainings
  • Perform the following employee records management tasks:
    • Maintain and update employee files to ensure accuracy and compliance
    • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
    • Assist in processing changes to employee status, such as promotions or terminations
  • Provide employee relations support through the following tasks:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing basic HR inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed
    • Assist in scheduling and preparing for training sessions or performance reviews
  • Perform the following tasks related to HR policy, compliance, and reporting:
    • Assist in maintaining and communicating HR policies and procedures
    • Support compliance efforts, such as audits and mandatory reporting
    • Generate HR reports, including turnover rates, attendance, and compliance metrics
  • Perform the following general office tasks:
    • Answer HR-related inquiries and direct employees to the appropriate resources
    • Manage office supplies for the HR department, as well as physical offices
Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and HR best practices is preferred
  • Experience with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is also preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
