Job Summary

Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.
As a successful ServiceNow developer in Comcast Reliability Engineering, you will do much more than build applications, infrastructure, tools, and people. You will be part of the team that is building new business applications, process automation and business insight capabilities that enable world-class operational excellence for our technology & business organizations. In addition, you will be crucial in supporting the end-to-end customer experience that will drive continuous improvements across the organization.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years overall work experience
• 6 -7+ years experience with ServiceNow, developing core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Notify, Asset Management, Service Portal, Agent Workspace
• ServiceNow Admin Certification
• ServiceNow Developer and/or Architect certifications is strong plus
• Expertise with workflows, flow designer, catalog items, Business Rules, Inbound email actions, script includes
• Experience with web service integrations (REST, SOAP), Mid Server configuration
• Strong working knowledge with the following technologies / products / methodologies:  ServiceNow, Java, Spring, CI/CD, Javascript, Jquery, AJAX, RESTful services that run on-premise and, in the cloud
• Appitude to deploy automated testing and quality assurance practices: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Functional Testing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership
• Experience or knowledge with AWS Cloud, and Graph database are a plus
• Experience building software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers programming in Java and node.js.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• CI/CD background with development knowledge around how the services are constructed.
• Experience in analyzing system performance and propose solutions to build a highly scalable and available system.
• Ability to Present to Technical and Non-Technical Audiences
