Overview

Job Title: Controller

Job Location: Remote

Job Shift: US PST Shift (8 pm-5 am IST)

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, strong expertise in NetSuite (3-5 years), hands-on experience with Bill.com.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational accounting functions, optimizing team performance.

Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for accurate reporting.

Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Lead client-facing interactions, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to deadlines.

Perform variance analyses, profit margin analyses, and substantiation of balance sheet accounts.

Manage controllership functions, including cash flow management and financial audits for US clients.

Research and document technical accounting issues, providing solutions aligned with US GAAP.

Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations and drive system integrations.

Streamline payment workflows using Bill.com and other automation tools.

Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to provide strategic financial insights.

Experience and Background

10+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on controllership for US-based clients.

3-5 years of experience with NetSuite ERP is mandatory.

Expertise in Bill.com for accounts payable/receivable and workflow automation.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.

Strong understanding of US GAAP and related financial reporting requirements.

Exceptional communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

Experience managing high-growth, complex accounting environments.

Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
