Cost Analyst

Location: Pune, Hybrid.

Why are we hiring a Cost Analyst? We’re on the hunt for a Cost Analyst, Reporting to the Head of FP&A and working closely with several department heads and core finance team, this is a pivotal role within Group Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a fast-paced expanding business, which operates in numerous countries.

A key focus of this role will be to produce a cost plan/forecast and to analyse the variance each month compared to the actuals.

This role will suit an individual who is inquisitive in nature and has an eye for detail while working to meet key deadlines and reporting milestones.

What are you responsible for?

Responsible for the consolidation of the Cost forecast

Responsible for the third-party cost forecast

Responsible for analysis of the forecast to previous versions

Responsible for analysis of actuals vs Plan/forecast

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in a financial analysis role
• Proficient with Microsoft excel
• Good technical accounting background
• Sector experience desirable but not essential (but must be willing to learn and adapt quickly)
