We are seeking a creative and dedicated Platform Engineer for one of our Scandinavian clients.

In this role, you will help design, develop, and maintain the systems and infrastructure that power clie services. Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and security experts, you’ll play a key role in improving the experience for millions of users.

You’ll also share your expertise with colleagues and agile teams, contributing to exciting projects that push the boundaries of technology.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent higher education.
Strong experience with Puppet, focusing on legacy technology.
Knowledge of designing, managing, and troubleshooting solutions involving cloud tools like Kubernetes, Istio, cert-manager, and Open Policy Agent.
Familiarity with Cloud PaaS platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Open Telekom Cloud.
Experience in high-volume transaction environments.
Skilled in designing, building, and deploying scalable services.
Proficient in addressing performance, reliability, security, scalability, and compliance needs of services.
Ability to guide teams in rolling out new features or upgrades with minimal disruption to existing systems.
Hands-on experience managing and debugging distributed services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Focus on maintaining and upgrading the existing platform until it is fully phased out, advising on necessary updates and executing required changes.
Collaborate with product owners to design systems and platforms that speed up feature delivery, ensuring reliability, observability, and ease of deployment for engineers.
Advocate for and implement DevOps best practices across teams.
Provide mentorship and guidance on designing and building platform-level solutions for all products.
Contribute to defining the platform and technology roadmap with your expertise and insights.
