The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Adobe Commerce Product Sales Specialist who will be responsible for exceeding sales targets through the sale of Adobe’s Commerce solutions. The Product Sales Specialist will be part of Adobe’s Digital Experience Cloud field sales organization. You will drive net new revenue within an assigned account base and industry verticals. You will play a pivotal role in crafting, shaping, and progressing commercial opportunities with our existing customers and new prospects. The ideal candidate is someone with a “hunter” mentality who thrives on being on the front lines, prospecting, consultative selling, negotiating deals to close, and winning! The perfect candidate will achieve success through solution selling capabilities and direct, face-to-face contact with the customer. What you’ll Do
- Identify new commercial opportunities and build value propositions for Adobe Commerce sales plays
- Perform outbound prospecting activities to generate new business for Adobe’s Commerce solutions within an existing Adobe customer base.
- Build and implement a comprehensive account and territory plan to achieve revenue goals.
- Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives.
- Handle, coordinate, collaborate and work with various cross-functional groups within Adobe (Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance) to successfully manage the entire sales cycle.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and business objectives.
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of Adobe’s Experience Cloud solutions.
- Continuously review the Commerce market landscape, identifying partnership opportunities and solution play offerings that will position Adobe as the market leader
- Develop and provide strategic and tactical plays to customers and solicit feedback on business capabilities to provide actionable insights to the Adobe’s product management team.
What you need to succeed
To succeed in this exciting role, you bring in strong commercial relationship skills, excellent communication and collaboration capacities, the ability to ‘read a room and people minds’ and you have the confidence to advise and speak up. Armed with domain and industry knowledge combined with Adobe’s vision on Customer Experience Management and Digital Commerce, you guide customers in their change uncertainty. You are resilient, persistent, and don’t shy away to go deep in the sales and portfolio plays to advise, educate and convince people about Adobe’s broad value proposition.
- A minimum of 5 years’ prior enterprise-level outside software sales experience, preferably within web technology and/or digital marketing solutions.
- Deep understanding of Adobe Commerce or similar ecommerce solutions, along with a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for Adobe’s solutions.
- Skilled solution seller with consistently proven track record on value-based selling and a history of exceeding quota
- Must have strong skills in the following: outstanding communication (verbal and written), presentation skills, negotiation, organization, and attention to detail.
- Able to maintain a high level of efficiency and work successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. Creative self-starter: ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Master’s degree preferred).
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $226,800 -- $373,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
