In this position…

As the Director, HR Technology at Ford Motor Company, you will be at the forefront of leading and evolving our Oracle HCM platform. This role involves strategic leadership over a team of product owners, each specializing in different modules such as Core HR, Reporting, Talent Management, Recruiting, Learning and security. Your mission will be to ensure that we maximize the capabilities of Oracle HCM suite to achieve Ford’s strategic objectives, provide exceptional user experiences, and drive efficiency and innovation across the company.

Hybrid in Dearborn preferred; however, we are open to remote candidates who will travel to Dearborn as needed.

Responsibilities

What you'll do…

  • Establish, own, and share a collective product vision and roadmap for the Oracle HCM suite, ensuring that each module aligns with Ford’s strategic goals and delivers an exceptional user experience.
  • Lead and support a team of product owners for Oracle HCM, ensuring a unified strategy that supports our business goals and user experience.
  • Work with product owners to prioritize projects that impacts multiple products and ensure collective outcome meets the intended purpose. Manage the product backlog for the Oracle HCM platform.
  • Partner with Oracle product teams to improve product capabilities and influence the strategic product roadmap.
  • Act as the lead interface for IT and HR teams for matters related to Oracle HCM platform and effectively managing stakeholder relationships and expectations.
  • Act as a Partner with process owners, product owners and IT to resolve escalations and improve the product capabilities.
  • Thoughtfully assess and prioritize project requests, considering feasibility, cost / risk, and ROI.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, delivery, and maintenance of system enhancements.
  • Serve as the product’s subject matter expert while supporting complex projects, including integrations with other systems.
  • Ensures seamless integration and data flow between HCM and other systems such as payroll, talent management, and time and attendance systems.
  • Ensure the integrity of the HCM system and compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations, implementing appropriate security measures to safeguard sensitive employee data.
  • Manage a small team and own all talent management responsibilities (e.g., recruitment, performance management, etc.)


Qualifications

You'll have…

  • 10+ years of experience in HR Technologies
  • Minimum of 7 years validated experience as a Product Owner in the HR Tech space
  • 5+ years of Proven hands-on Oracle HCM experience
  • 5+ years of proven management experience which involves documenting business processes, procedures & workflows.
  • 2+ years working with agile delivery teams
  • Prior experience of Working as Oracle HCM implementation partner is huge plus
  • Experience supporting HR lines of business, and identifying areas of opportunity for technology improvement
  • Experience analyzing business/employee needs, current market trends, and HR Tech systems and designing exceptional user experiences.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
  • Proven experience in a dynamic product management role overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Team worker, responsible and delivery-oriented
