Job description

BETER is a rapidly growing product company. Our main product is sports and esports content. We create and distribute sports and esports content based on real sports and esports competitions (we make 32k+ sports & esports matches monthly) and analytical data. Our content is watched by 35+ million viewers in 150+ countries.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct KYC & client's DD checks (create and manage partners’ portfolios, ensure compliance of partners’ portfolios with applicable rules and regulations, collect KYC information, review KYC documents for verification, collect and analyze partners’ due diligence documentation, etc.).
  • Banking compliance (preparation of documents necessary for bank account opening and annual checks).
  • Cooperation with corporate agents (Cyprus, Curacao, Hong Kong, Maltese, Romania, etc.) on non-resident companies’ establishment and support: drafting documents required for setting up the company, corporate structure changes (SPA, minutes of shareholders’ and BoD’s meetings), organization of documents signing, apostilization, keeping the companies’ legal documents up to date and their proper storage in electronic achieve.
  • Legal compliance (to be able to do research, know and understand legal requirements of different jurisdictions to the company’s business and industry it operates in, and to be able to make plans and advise on how to fulfill those requirements).
  • Preparation of documents necessary for the company's B2B gambling license obtaining and maintenance (EU countries, UK, Curacao, IoM, USA, Latin America, etc.).
  • Drafting and reviewing different types of international contracts.
  • Cooperation with foreign legal advisers on legal matters related to the Group’s legal entities operation.



Requirements:

  • Higher legal education.
  • Experience in the field of law for 5 years.
  • Knowledge of civil, economic, intellectual, corporate, international, and banking law.
  • Ability to negotiate with international consultants/lawyers.
  • Confident PC user (MS Office, Excel), legal systems RADA and LIGA.
  • Upper-intermediate English.
