An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Iris finance team in our Macedonia office as a Management Accountant.
The ideal candidate is fluent in written and spoken English. In this position you will be a part of our Skopje based team, responsible for supporting the Iris London Management accounting team with key finance processes and day to day support across various accounts.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts in line with corporate reporting deadlines including income recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentaries for reporting packs.
- Management at both agency and client level of balance sheet items linked to jobs; specifically, WIP, accrued and deferred income, debtors, creditors and cash-flow
- Working closely with client teams based in London to ensure projects are managed correctly and to support wherever needed
- Producing chargeability and utilisation reports for management to aid commercial decision making.
- Tracking of Freelance consultants costs, working with the Resource team to forecast and recognise actuals
- Managing cross agency and intercompany recharges.
- Offering software training and effectively communicating financial best practice to all staff
- Providing support during the year-end audit process
- Ad hoc reporting and commercial analysis
- Assist senior management with continuous process improvements and ensuring robust internal control systems.
What We’re Looking For
- High levels of English language – spoken and written
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in finance
- Energetic, enthusiastic and positive.
- Highly numerate with an excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible with an ability to perform to a high standard given different demands whilst working under pressure.
- Strong excel skills with experience of using advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Good organization and communication skills
