The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Vascular Clinical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

We are seeking a clinical specialist to support a sales region focused on customer support, growth and strong relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of clinical acumen, collaboration, and ability to influence. Here you will make an impact by: 

  • Support regional business to deliver sustainable growth based on targets/quotas 
  • Identify and solve customer clinical / economic priorities & constraints 
  • Provide peer to peer training to healthcare customers on the safe and effective utilization of Solventum IV site management and infection prevention products 
  • Use data and analytics to inform business planning 
  • Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of training program  
  • Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare customers to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction 
  • Educate customers on clinical guidelines, standards, and evidence-based best practice to optimize patient outcomes 
  • Provide consultation to customers related to solving complex issues for marketed products  
  • Contribute to growth opportunity identification through activities like immersive education and routine product usage validation 
  • Support economic objection handling with customers by articulating evidence-based clinical efficacy and the connection to economic value  
  • Collaborate with sales specialists to support evaluations and conversions  
  • Collaborate with internal interdisciplinary teams to identify and meet customer and business needs, and provide direct customer feedback 
  • Maintain clinical relevance and competitive advantage through ongoing continuous learning and participation in professional associations 
  • Deploy standardized approach to utilization assessments and education as a vehicle to drive standardization and compliance  
  • Complete essential business planning requirements and maintain customer engagement data utilizing Salesforce.com 

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher and four (4) years of sales, clinical or related experience

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED and eight (8) years of sales, clinical or related experience   

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 2 years healthcare experience in a hospital, clinic, or long-term care environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Power Point, Outlook)   

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Current certification(s): BSN, RN, VA-BC, CRNI 
  • Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across hospital care areas and alternative sites of care 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills  
  • Understanding of the principals of adult learning 
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, project management, and implementation skills 
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong internal and external collaborative relationships  
  • Experience with public speaking and technical presentations

Additional Requirements

In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities. Those facilities may, in turn, require you to possess certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications (collectively “prerequisites to entry”) for regulatory, safety, or other business reasons. All information will be kept in accordance with applicable law and Solventum policies. Work location: Remote in Houston, TX sales territory

Travel: Field-based role with up to 60% overnight travel anticipated (may vary based on territory)

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
