Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Integrated Media Strategy will lead the development and execution of sophisticated, comprehensive media strategies for major clients. This role demands a strategic visionary who excels in orchestrating cross-functional teams—including media planners, creative professionals, social media experts, commerce specialists, and analysts—to develop and optimize frameworks that ensure our media strategies are innovative, data-informed, and aligned with client business goals. The ideal candidate is a thought leader and skilled communicator, passionate about blending digital media, creative thinking, analytics, and technology in transformative ways.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks that challenge conventional thinking, identify new growth opportunities, and drive deeper, long-term consumer engagement to accelerate client business outcomes.
  • Create and execute strategic media platforms and pillars that ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns across all channels.
  • Lead the ideation and development of breakthrough media concepts for high-profile client campaigns, pushing creative boundaries and elevating media solutions.
  • Establish and deliver training programs that enhance the agency's strategic media capabilities, including developing industry-leading case studies for organizational learning.

Client Partnership:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, positioning yourself as a key strategic advisor in their business success.
  • Present high-level strategic recommendations to C-suite executives, clearly articulating complex media strategies and their impact on business outcomes.
  • Develop strategic recommendations that utilize media solutions to drive business growth, prioritizing meaningful metrics over superficial measures.

Innovation and Thought Leadership:

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging media trends and technologies, proactively guiding the team and clients toward innovative and effective media practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on strategic media innovation, championing new technologies and platforms that redefine the media landscape.
  • Drive the agency’s thought leadership in global media through pioneering campaign strategies, industry engagement, and the adoption of cutting-edge approaches.
  • Design media connection strategies that empower teams to execute on strategic pillars during the planning and activation phases.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leverage advanced analytics, audience insights, and performance metrics to guide strategic decision-making and continuously refine media strategies.
  • Utilize market research to identify opportunities for improvement and to inform proactive adjustments to media campaigns.

Collaboration and Integration:

  • Partner closely with creative, media, commerce, and business development teams to understand client needs and craft tailored strategic solutions.
  • Collaborate with media planners and strategists to gain deep immersion in client businesses, using consumer insights as the foundation for strategic recommendations.

Business Development:

  • Play a critical role in new business pitches, bringing a strategic lens and innovative thinking that underscore the agency’s value in driving client success through integrated media.
  • Provide strategic guidance on key industry verticals, supporting the agency’s efforts to expand its client base and deepen its market presence.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying, with a proven track record of leading innovative integrated media campaigns for global brands.
  • A forward-thinking, passionate, and creative approach to media strategy, with a deep understanding of digital media, including programmatic, social, search, influencer, and content marketing, as well as traditional channels.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business results.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, adept at engaging senior client stakeholders and delivering complex strategies with confidence.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships, influence key decision-makers, and navigate complex corporate environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with agility and poise.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree is highly desirable.

The Ideal Candidate:
A visionary strategist with a passion for media innovation, a global mindset, and the ability to inspire both clients and colleagues. You excel at integrating media strategies with broader business objectives, driving tangible results, and positioning the agency as a leader in the media landscape.
