ModMed is hiring a driven RCM Performance Analyst to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing RCM Operations team focused on [conducting in-depth analysis of revenue cycle data, performance metrics, and industry trends to derive actionable insights. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic recommendations to optimize revenue cycle processes within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!

Your Role:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, including claims, denials, and payment trends. Use data analytics tools to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to billing errors, denials, and other common trends across BOOST.  Collaborate with stakeholders to address root causes and implement solutions.
  • Investigate the root causes of escalations, coordinate with internal teams to resolve problems, and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution. Maintain clear communication with the Client Success teams throughout the process.
  • Prepare and present reports.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous RCM experience.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (i.e. Excel, Google Sheets, etc) and experience with data software (i.e. Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills to address complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of medical billing/coding, front-office, physician practice management and healthcare business processes.
  • Strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs.
  • Ability to manage and integrate information located in multiple software systems.
  • Experience working with global vendors, preferred.
  • Professional, patient and balanced approach to handling tasks of varying priority levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a large RCM team.
