Senior Test Analyst - Unsecured Lending

Location - Homeworking or hybrid at one of our office locations (Leicester, Bexhill or London)

Job Details

  • Hastings Financial Services Limited (HFSL) has bold ambitions to be the best tech enable lender on the market and we have a unique opportunity for someone to be part of this journey.
  • This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of IT infrastructure and operations across the organization.
  • You will also be responsible monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, supporting critical applications, and play a key role in optimizing our IT environment.
  • You will take the lead on our change management processes including system upgrades, patches, and configurations to ensure system integrity and minimize impact.
  • There is also a large element of collaboration within this role - you will work with security teams to ensure IT operations adhere to security standards and compliance requirements, including vulnerability management and access controls.

 

Skills we would love you to have

  • This position requires a deep understanding of IT operations best practices, strong problem-solving skills, and experience managing complex IT environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with wide range of stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery best practices.
