Requirements:

Ability to implement and manage Azure SQL Database Environment for high availability, backup/recovery
Good level of database administration SQL server
Experience with building Azure pipelines from scratch, reviewing database code and Azure-managed instances
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos)
Familiarity with CICD deployments including creating/managing DacPac and schema deployments
Ability to write, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of complex SQL queries and procedures
Ability to advise on data flow across multiple database technologies (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL)
Availability for work in US Time: utc -5/6: Milwaukee

Nice to have:

Ability to design and architect data solutions for a given application/project
Coding skills on .Net (C#) and Pyspark (Foundry)

Job Responsibilities:

Process the database-related deployments after validating for efficiency and correctness
Review the help desk system for any db-related task and perform it
Administrate Azure SQL DBS and cosmos DB
Prepare some strategies for database development
Administrate Azure ETL pipelines
Participate in Azure development strategy
Analyze data and advise on optimization
Develop and advise complex database model schemas
Establish monitoring tools on data environments for both performance and cost savings
