Job description

LTS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director - IT/Security to lead and oversee the design, delivery, and operation of complex technology solutions for LTS health services division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to drive results. This role requires a collaborative leader who can effectively manage multiple projects, build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage IT partner relationships, and deliver exceptional outcomes.

The successful candidate for this role will be engaged in various projects from inception and throughout to ensure successful timely delivery; within budget, while providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will provide day-to-day oversight for federal health service programs to ensure that the overall scope, cost, and business/technical requirements are understood, implemented, and monitored. The IT/Security Program Manager; Sr. Director, IT and Strategic Programs will also play a critical role in business development initiatives by establishing, maintaining, and leveraging relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

  • Guides strategic initiatives with a broad business approach to deliver complex, technically innovative solutions in support of LTS business needs and initiatives.
  • Translate highly complex customer and business requirements into technical strategies and creative solutions that result in leading-edge systems and positive business outcomes.
  • Drive strategy, vision, and execution for enterprise health service delivery integration product portfolio.
  • Works closely with other stakeholders to forecast and plan resource requirements to educate and participate in executive strategic decision-making activities.
  • Present high-level overviews and solutions of system architecture and integration capabilities to partners on cross-functional, segment teams and/or to external, executive decision makers.
  • Direct consultive engagements and business plans with customers regarding complex technical challenges
  • Lead large, complex projects involving the implementation and integration of service delivery solutions and tools to achieve key business objectives.
  • Manage IT projects and programs and provide oversight of all aspects project performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial).
  • Manage IT partner relationships, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of required solutions
  • Monitor departmental goals and initiatives and utilize metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements for driving performance.
  • Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services and drive decisions across to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Validate and determine IT plans by participating in IT strategy planning activities, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of health service delivery business system solutions and best practices as related to the business needs of LTS and its clients.
  • Define and maximize business growth strategy through the implementation of bid and no-bid decisions, including participation in RFI responses and competitive proposals.
  • Supervise, build, and lead high-performing personnel/teams involved in all aspects of project and program activity, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery, providing guidance and oversight on technical aspects.
  • Predict and proactively identify project issues/risks and anticipate customer needs; present alternative solutions to alleviate, resolve or meet those needs.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables by monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that employees are adhering to all federal and agency policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Government contracting and program management experience.
  • Travel to customers’ and partners’ sites for onsite discovery and solutions presentations. Not to exceed 25%.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with managing large, complex projects to attain key business objectives and meet customer requirements.
  • Verified experience in identifying security risks, recommending solutions, and implementing appropriate measures to optimize IT systems, including EHRs, telehealth platforms, and/or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Advanced business acumen with the ability to understand and translate complex user and business challenges into viable technology solutions.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, unique business solutions.
  • Familiarity with various technical integration and interoperability standards and requirements across the healthcare IT environment.
  • Deep experience with Agile development frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong networking, relationship building, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior and intermediate level designers, solutioners, and analysts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams) software.
