What you'll do
The Analyst – International Supply Chain role will focus on implementing a robust and effective supply chain in the Asia Pacific region to unlock growth and profitability. It will work with internal (global and regional cross functional teams) and external stakeholders (franchise partners and suppliers) on procurement/supply chain initiatives as well as day-to-day supply chain planning. This role will apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve values that are beneficial to the Wendys system and drive sustainable competitive advantage for the business.
Responsibilities
Franchises Support: Develop and maintain good partnership with franchise partners. Work with franchise partners to ensure timely ordering and supply to avoid stock outs and expiries. Aid franchise in SCM and procurement related activities like supply planning, inventory management, forecasting and more. Address any quality and supply issues from suppliers/ 3PL. Provide stewardship in supplier relationships with franchises. Supplier Management: Build good supplier relationships and ensure stewardship of suppliers. Work with suppliers on timely supply, distribution, quality complaints, service level or any issue resolutions to support Wendy’s business. Measure suppliers through KPIs and support periodic supplier performance reviews to ensure suppliers are aligned with Wendy’s business strategy. Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Procurement Management: Support the supply chain function for Wendy’s restaurants including sourcing, procurement, distribution, warehousing, transportation in operating Asia Pacific markets. Support in developing Category Management Strategies for Core/Key Products. Improve food and paper cost by supporting and/or leading cost savings initiatives to achieve target savings and efficiencies. Project Management: Lead and/or support cross functional projects with internal (marketing, operations, finance, QA, innovation, development) and external (suppliers, franchise) stakeholders. Liaise with global and regional team on updates, activities and reports. Be resourceful in obtaining data and details pertaining to supply chain, trade criteria, regulation changes/bans and others. Data management: Support building a structured supply chain database for the region. Analyze and track data to monitor supply chain performance. Prepare reports on supply chain metrics and KPIs. NPD and New Market Opening: Support implementation of effective supply chain for new products or new markets. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and develop business continuity plans to safeguard operations and maintain continuity of supply.
What we expect from you
Education (majoring in supply chain, business, or related area): Bachelors Degree At least 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain (preferably in FMCG or food industry)Possess strong procurement and supply chain knowledge including but not limited to forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, logistics/distribution/warehousing, good purchasing practices, contract management, negotiation skills. Added advantage for importation and tariff regulations knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other program development tools Good interpersonal and communication skills. Solid project management knowledge and team player attitude, ability to work across regions, time zones, and functions. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
We are looking for an individual in Dubai with food industry and Middle East experience. Supply Chain and/or Procurement experience required.

Pay Range: AED $122,000 - $207,000 Annually
