PR & Marketing Specialist

Full time - 40 hrs per week, Remote - South America

Our client is seeking a creative and driven Public Relations & Marketing Specialist to help shape the voice of a premium tequila brand that blends artisanal craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and modern sophistication. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining the brand’s positive image while amplifying its presence in the spirits and lifestyle industries. Your passion for storytelling, deep knowledge of the media landscape, and expertise in creating compelling campaigns will help bring the brand’s unique narrative to life.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic PR Campaigns: Develop and execute innovative public relations strategies that elevate brand awareness and drive engagement across target markets.

Media Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and industry professionals, ensuring consistent, positive coverage across key publications and platforms.

Compelling Storytelling: Craft captivating press releases, media kits, brand stories, and other materials that effectively communicate the brand’s commitment to tradition, authenticity, and artistry.

Event Planning & Execution: Plan and manage high-impact events, including product launches, tastings, influencer partnerships, and media tours, creating memorable brand experiences that resonate with consumers and stakeholders.

Brand Messaging: Ensure the brand’s voice and narrative are consistently communicated across all PR initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to align messaging with broader marketing goals.

Crisis Management: Monitor and manage the brand’s public image, proactively addressing potential issues and maintaining the integrity of the brand’s reputation.

Insights & Reporting: Analyze and report on PR performance metrics, delivering actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.

Media Monitoring: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the spirits, luxury, and lifestyle sectors.

Budget Management: Oversee PR budgets, ensuring all campaigns and events are executed efficiently and effectively within financial parameters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• 3+ years of proven experience in public relations within the luxury, beverage, lifestyle, or hospitality industries.

• A strong network of established media contacts and an ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and impactful content.

• A track record of successfully planning and executing PR campaigns and events that achieve measurable results.

• Creativity and an ability to think outside the box to develop unique strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.

• Proficiency with PR and media monitoring tools and platforms.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of the premium spirits industry, including tequila and mezcal, is a significant plus.

Working hours: Ability to work based on PST business hours -  40 hrs per week remotely
