Sweep is hiring an ESG Sustainability Expert to join our dynamic product team, leveraging their expertise and networks to develop features that help companies be compliant with all the latest sustainability standards.

This position is opened to anyone living in the UK or France, near one of our offices in London, Paris or Montpellier as you’ll be expected to come to the office at least once a week.
Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?
As the ESG Specialist, Product Team Liaison, you will play a pivotal role on the product team, ensuring that our ESG disclosure are compliant with international regulations and help drive new business opportunities.
Drawing on your expertise in ESG-related topics, you will provide strategic guidance, insights, and domain knowledge to inform decision-making and drive innovation within our product development process.
To be more specific, this includes:
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert on ESG-related topics within the product team.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to identify opportunities to integrate ESG considerations into new developments.
- Research and monitor ESG trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to our industry and target markets, in close collaboration with our Chief Impact Officer and Product Marketing Manager team.
- Take a hands-on approach to incorporating ESG metrics, reporting frameworks, and standards into the design and functionality of new features. This includes defining relevant indicators and ensuring their effective integration and maintenance in the platform.
- Assist in the development of value propositions, and messaging to effectively communicate the sustainability benefits of our modules to customers and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of ESG awareness and engagement within the product team, providing training, resources, and support as needed.
- Be an ambassador for Sweep in the wider ESG industry, building strong connections with key bodies and decision makers like the EFRAG, CDP, XBRL etc. and position Sweep as a key partner for driving sustainability and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications 🏆
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in ESG-related roles, with a focus on ESG consulting or product development areas.
- Deep understanding of ESG principles and regulations, frameworks, reporting standards, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD and CSRD.
- Fluency in both French & English is mandatory.
