Senior .NET Developer – Core Banking Software Developer (Freelance)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to provide external support as a Core Banking Software Developer. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement core payment functionalities that support electronic money services, payment transactions, and account information services. This freelance opportunity focuses on creating cutting-edge payment solutions with the potential for a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for payment services, including:
• Issuing, distribution, and redemption of electronic money.
• Enabling cash withdrawals from payment accounts.
• Executing direct debits, payment transactions, and credit transfers.
• Issuing and acquiring payment instruments and transactions.
• Managing money remittance services.
• Handling payment initiation and account information services.
• Ensure compliance with SEPA SCT/SEPA Instant connectivity, SEPA DD, SWIFT (ISO15022/ISO20022), FPS/BACS/CHAPS, and ISO8583 standards for card payments.
• Analyze system requirements and recommend efficient solutions for payment services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with core banking systems.
• Provide detailed technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong focus on payment services.
• Expertise in SEPA SCT/SEPA Instant connectivity, SEPA DD, SWIFT (ISO15022/ISO20022), FPS/BACS/CHAPS, and ISO8583 for card payments.
• Ability to demonstrate completed projects or competencies in payment services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
