Android Developer

Location: Remote (Based in Latin America)

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative mobile applications that delight our users. This is a fully remote position, and we are looking for candidates based in Latin America to collaborate within our team across time zones effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and scalable Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to define and deliver new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices for Android development.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) as an Android Developer.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and design patterns.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards and guidelines.
• Experience with testing frameworks and debugging tools for Android applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of app performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in agile development environments.
