The Jobholder is responsible for the following tasks:

PRODUCT VALIDATION AND PROJECT SUPPORT

• Leads product validation for all Energy products and systems from an applications perspective.
• Leads and approves the design and content of technical literature on Energy applications for the approval Energy Product and Solutions portfolio.
• Develops new and improved installation documentation to ensure methods are always ‘fit for purpose’ for the products in the applications and environments that they serve.
• Produces clear comparative data for the Energy technical teams with regards to understanding the full performance range of all products and systems and combinations and offers strict guidelines on any limitations necessary.
• Advises on and signs off any proposed revised/new product offerings.
• Creates applications tailored to specific client needs on all Energy projects and initiatives.
• Gives detailed design engineering input into the client specification, including MTOs, drawings etc.
• Provides technical expertise and advice on the application of Armacell products within Engineered Systems.
• Initiates appropriate training support when required, including design and approval of training programmes

DEMAND CREATION

• Identifies and develops business opportunities for Energy technical services and applications support
• Designs and delivers technical presentations (eg to CPD) to promote and demonstrate the applications and technical features and benefits of the Energy Product portfolio.
• Develops novel applications methods to give tangible benefits/improvements to the end user and promote the Energy insulation systems and offerings.
• Gives technical guidance and direction to the global Innovation team on new product development opportunities to give competitive advantage to Armacell products, ensuring compliance with stated performance characteristics.

• Uses reporting systems for activity monitoring/ follow-up and reporting.

MEASUREMENT OF EFFECTIVENESS

• Robust validation and qualification of all Energy products and systems
• Quality and quantity of technical and applications advice and support to Energy customers and the Energy team
• Contribution to making Armacell the supplier of choice within targeted markets
• Creating quality training packages

VALUE ADDED ACTIVITES

• Improving the Armacell product proposition through an enhanced technical/applications support to customers
• Raising the profile of Armacell products and services
• Suggesting product improvements and developments for Energy applications.
• Annually you will be given activities or projects which are aligned to our annual mission map to support local and group energy teams.
