Job description

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

As our new HR Partner, you will be a part of our HR Shared Service Center. In this role, you will manage Employee Relations in Denmark primarily in Søborg and Nakskov. This involves close collaboration with union representatives, management, and HR partners to ensure effective employee relations and compliance with internal and external guidelines. Your key tasks will include:

  • Day-to-day sparring with HR Business Partners, managers, and union representatives within Employee Relations areas such as performance, terminations, sick leave, terms & conditions, warnings, compensation packages, recruitment, and contracts related to blue-collars.

  • Guide HR- and Talent Acquisition Partners on drafting contracts, addendums, etc.

  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, legislation, and collective agreements.

  • Sparring partner and first point of contact in HR for the managing director in Søborg and Nakskov.

  • Engage in informal discussions with union representatives - negotiating performance-based pay and engaging in annual salary review negotiations for blue-collar and ensuring collaboration with the management team to align with the progress and outcomes of the salary review.

  • Prepare and update local Share-pages (policies, procedures, etc.) and maintain the pages within the Employee Relations area.

  • Actively participate in Work council (SU) in Nakskov, HSE-organization, site management, local crisis management team, and work environment organization (AMO), and collaborating with AMR-reps and union reps respectively.

  • Participate in keeping the intranet up to date within the Employee Relations area.

Who are you

As a person you are empathetic, and you are known to be structured and process savvy in your daily work. Known for your ability to facilitate collaboration, you are a strong team player who excels in fostering effective working relationships.

What you know

We prefer you have a legal education, but this is not mandatory. To succeed in this position, you must have:

  • Proficient within employment and labour law areas.

  • Experience with negotiations and interaction with blue collars.

  • Stakeholder management skills.

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience within the Employee Relations area – able to front union reps and conflict situations both in relation to negotiations with unions, but also defending HR standpoint, and internal guidelines to managers.

The position is based in Søborg, with a requirement to visit Nakskov twice a week. The role offers flexibility, allowing to work from home sometimes.
