Location:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven and innovative Ecommerce Manager to oversee and optimize our Shopify store. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and creative problem-solving to enhance user experience, improve conversion rates, and drive growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Management:

  • Manage all aspects of the Shopify store, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
  • Create, update, and optimize Shopify pages and sections to align with marketing campaigns and brand vision.
  • Oversee product listings, including descriptions, imagery, and metafields.


Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Develop and execute data-driven CRO strategies to improve conversion rates across key pages.
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate tests on layouts, CTAs, and other touchpoints.
  • Analyze user behavior with tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to uncover actionable insights.


Strategic Growth:

  • Partner with marketing, design, and development teams to align website performance with company goals.
  • Implement SEO strategies to enhance visibility and discoverability of products and content.
  • Collaborate with external partners to integrate new Shopify apps and custom solutions.


Performance Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on website KPIs, including conversion rates, bounce rates, and average order value (AOV).
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership to drive strategic decisions.


Experimentation and Innovation:

  • Test new Shopify features, ecommerce tools, and UX best practices to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Lead creative experiments to enhance user experience and achieve business objectives.


Qualifications and Experience:

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience managing high-volume Shopify stores.
  • Expertise in tools like Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Shopify Analytics.
  • Proven track record of improving conversion rates and user experience.
  • Strong ability to analyze user behavior data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and mobile-first design strategies.


Nice to Haves:

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or CRM tools.
  • Experience managing development teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms, page speed optimization tools, and version control systems.
  • Passion for learning and adapting to new tools, trends, and strategies.
  • Past success in increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through cross-sells, upsells, or bundling strategies.


What Success Looks Like:

  • Conversion rate reaches 3% through continuous optimization.
  • Site bounce rate reduced by 25%+ through UX improvements.
  • Average order value (AOV) increased by 20%+ via strategic upsells and cross-sells.
  • Page load times cut by 50%+ through technical optimization.
