Business Developer

Are you passionate about innovative software solutions and building strong relationships? As a Business Developer at Configura, you'll combine your expertise in engineering or manufacturing processes with consultative sales skills to drive adoption, expand usage, and boost revenue for CET, our cutting-edge software platform tailored for Material Handling ecosystems.

In this key position, you'll act as the bridge between Configura, system integrators, manufacturers, and users, delivering exceptional customer experiences while gathering market insights. You’ll play a key role in strengthening user adoption and shaping our product’s future.

What you will be doing:   

  • Consultative sales activities with end-users to build relationships and increase adoption.  

  • Secure new license revenue by prospecting new customers through cold-calling, networking, and leveraging Configura’s manufacturer relationships.  

  • Execute contracts, negotiations, and license renewal activities. 

  • Support Account Executives in targeted market expansion across manufacturers & user communities.  

  • Support the global sales team in demos, presentation creation, and sales engagements.  

  • Create demo CET drawings as visual proof of concepts.  

  • Conduct in-person and virtual demonstrations that complement formal training.  

  • Upsell structured training programs.  

  • Participate in trade shows and Configura events to build relationships

  • Leverage a CRM tool for tracking leads and sales efforts.
