In this role, your mission will be to leverage value-based selling strategies to engage with our healthcare-focused clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions that align with their goals. Our customers are a mix of higher education nurse training programs (e.g., BSN, ADN, RN, LPN/LVN) and hospitals. We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive who thrives in a mission-driven environment and has a passion for making a tangible impact in healthcare and education. With at least two years of experience selling technology into the healthcare sector, you will drive revenue growth by converting leads and prospecting in your territory. As a key contributor to our growth, you will help institutions adopt cutting-edge immersive technology, empowering students and healthcare professionals alike.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for UbiSim within the Higher Education sector.
Meet and exceed sales quota and all activity goals as set by the leadership team
Manage the sales cycle from start to finish; generate pipeline with new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, and networking to close multi-year SaaS-based deals
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Conduct in-depth research on higher education institutions to tailor sales approaches effectively.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in higher education institutions.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer success, BDRs, and more) to ensure a coordinated, strategic, and customer-centric approach.
Develop a deep understanding of the UbiSim product, its features and differentiators, and how it aligns with the needs of higher education institutions.
Competencies & Skills
2-5 years’ experience in a sales role in healthcare, ideally selling into nursing programs
Experience in high volume sales with an average deal size of approximately $15,000
Proven record of achieving or exceeding quota through a high level of effective sales activities, with focus on outbound activity, sales demonstrations, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting.
Experience utilizing a sales methodology focused on values-based selling to hit and exceed quota. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, allocate and track time across a large set of targets.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills).
Tech-savvy with high proficiency in using CRMs (Salesforce.com), Outreach.io, Google Suite, and other tools as needed.
