Remote with travel expected, preferably located within easy travel distance to hub offices (LA, DC, NYC)

We are dedicated to providing world-class youth sports programming that inspires passion for the game and a commitment to excellence.

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, top talent professional with a passion for youth sports to conceive, establish, and lead the Sales effort for Unrivaled Sports’ expansion into flag football and lacrosse experiences such as tournaments, camps, and showcases.  This person will play a critical role in shaping a more robust and cohesive go-to-market strategy across Unrivaled Sports’ existing Football businesses, developing and leading our go-to-market execution, deepening and expanding on our current relationships, developing new business, and driving our growth.

This role requires a sales professional with 8-10 years of relevant experience and a proven ability to collaborate, be pro-active, and deliver results in a sustainable, brand-enhancing manner.  This role collaborates across the Unrivaled Football & Lacrosse team and the Unrivaled Sports Sales team, as well as interacting with commissioners, coaches, and parents in youth leagues, and administrators and coaches at the college level and among professional sports leagues.  The role requires a fair amount of travel, and flexibility to work some weekends around key youth sports events.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for Unrivaled Football & Lacrosse.
  • Design and lead the Football & Lacrosse go-to-market process.
  • Drive sales of Unrivaled Football & Lacrosse programming at our owned complexes; e.g., Canton Forever Lawn Sports Complex.
  • Drive sales of Unrivaled Football & Lacrosse programming at famed destinations; e.g., Signature Stadium Series and College Series.
  • Work with Football & Lacrosse team to strategically prioritize and map out in-market visits with existing flag football organizations and influencers throughout the country to establish relationships and identify future opportunities for sales and expansion 
  • Drive the expansion of flag football through partnership with national leagues, the NFL, the NCAA, USA Football, and other aligned organizations on the road to LA28
  • Evaluate current pricing models and recommend future pricing models, on-sale cadence, and experiential add-on opportunities both pre-event and onsite 
  • Lead all post-event follow up customer service efforts including post-event survey, evaluation of NPS scores, and direct outreach to customers to identify what’s working great along with ways that we can enhance their experiences in the future.
  • Work with Unrivaled Football and Lacrosse Brand Director and Director of Corporate Development to identify ways to maximize sales opportunities utilizing historical data from our grassroots programs (i.e., UTL)
  • Recruit and interview to maintain constant pipeline of quality sales team candidates in anticipation of team build out in 2025 and beyond

Qualifications & Candidate Profile:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, including: 
    1. Roles selling experiences such as sport events or travel
    2. Roles in organizations with top-tier reputations for training and development
  • Pro-active mindset: a self-starter who translates strategy into action 
  • Results-oriention: delivers results in a brand-enhancing and relationship-enhancing manner
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships, and influence key stakeholders across diverse teams.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt messaging to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to travel as required to initiate and establish effective relationships.
