Security Splunk SME

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Security Splunk SME to support our federal client. This is a Remote position and is open to US Citizens ONLY.  

Successful candidates must hold an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance.

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for designing and setting up the integration of Splunk with third-party SIEM tools, improving enterprise-wide security insights and response times.

Implement and manage Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions

• Develop custom Splunk Enterprise Architecture and design solutions
• Monitor and optimize Splunk system performance to ensure seamless operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Splunk strategies with business objectives
• Design dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights into system and security performance
• Lead the implementation of enterprise-wide log monitoring solutions
• Provide team leadership and mentorship for Splunk platform optimization

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must have:

• Extensive experience in Splunk Administration
• Expertise in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Strong knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Architecture and Design
• Proficiency in enterprise security tools and platforms
• Proven ability to manage and optimize Splunk in a federal environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of advanced Splunk analytics
• Familiarity with scripting for automation within Splunk
• Experience developing documentation and standard operating procedures

Salary: $150,000-$165,000, Dependent on experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
