Job Title: Solar Project Manager
Location: Remote (CST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 4000 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee residential solar installations. The ideal candidate will excel in planning, execution, and ensuring the success of projects while managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

Lead the planning, execution, and closure of residential solar projects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules.
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly.

Team Coordination:

Manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
Coordinate with external partners, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.

Operational Excellence:

Implement project management best practices and methodologies.
Monitor and manage contractor and vendor performance, including contract negotiation.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Experience in project management of residential solar installations.
Proven project management experience in the renewable energy or solar industry (minimum 1 year; 3-5 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of G-Suite and Slack.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Acute attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

Proficiency in project management software, with the ability to quickly learn tools like Coperniq.
PMP certification or equivalent.
Spanish language skills.
