This pivotal role serves as one of three direct reports to the Head of EAP Administration, focusing on delivering essential services, maintaining high standards, and ensuring performance meets key KPIs.
The Day-to-Day
- Manage sickness and absence daily
- Provide effective support for line managers approving annual leave so that we can ensure we can deliver appointments
- Manage sickness and absence alongside line managers, ensuring that appointments are quickly rearranged or covered
- Create required action plans to look after clinician wellbeing following sickness
- Managerial oversight of all clinical diaries
- Liaise with Heads of Service to ensure clinical diary management is optimised and that sessional offerings are in line with business demand
- Create and maintain the clinical rota for the ITMS ring group, populated sufficiently in advance. Any other future clinical ring group rotas will also be held by the utilisation manager
- Report utilisation MI to Clinical SLT
- Highlight workforce planning needs; act as early-warning system for capacity concerns / demand surges
- Maintain overview of current capacity vs ongoing demand and report to Clinical SLT
- Be first-line support to Clinical Team for all issues around CLIVE, Core and diary management
- Be the diary management “champion” and provide induction and refresher training to the wider team
