Join our client's team and help shape the future of cash register systems for the hospitality and leisure industry! 🚀


About the project

Our client has developed user-friendly and practical catering software with close input from catering entrepreneurs. Their system has evolved from a QR ordering solution to an all-in-one cloud-based cash register system that consolidates orders from all sales channels. It now includes a collection and delivery website, guest calling system, floating QR code, ordering kiosk, and handheld cash register functions. Our client provides comprehensive software, hardware, service, and support.

Since their founding in 2018, they have been helping entrepreneurs to improve the service and experience of guests, offer the latest features and relieve the pressure on catering staff.

Right now they are on the lookout for a Java Software Developer with at least 5 years of experience that has worked on large(r) 'legacy' applications. Besides Java, Hibernate and Spring, PostgreSQL and GCP are a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy Java-based software applications.
  • Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with your Agile/Scrum team.
  • Test software applications for quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Java, Hibernate, and Spring experience.
  • Agile/Scrum background.
  • Web app development knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Degree in CS or related field (advantage).
  • PostgreSQL and GCP knowledge (advantage).
