Job purpose:

We’re looking for a talented Senior Creative Designer with Advertising Agency experience to join our team, bringing a blend of artistic skill, strategic thinking, and expertise in both digital and print design. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing captivating visual concepts, presenting ideas to clients, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact designs. With a strong portfolio and a knack for communicating big ideas, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our creative direction and delivering exceptional brand experiences. Job details: 

  • Location: 100% Remote– Open to candidates based in Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Central America Time Zone).
  • Contract: Full-Time Professional Services Agreement.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Spanish: Native.
    • English: Advanced (C1+ level in reading, writing, and conversation).
  • This is an exciting near-future opportunity with the potential to begin in January 2025. We are seeking highly skilled professionals eager to join our team and contribute to dynamic, remote, and collaborative projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Creative Concepting and Storytelling: Lead the creative direction for projects by developing strong visual concepts and narratives that support campaign goals and resonate with target audiences.
  • Multi-Platform Design Execution: Create high-quality visuals for a range of media, including digital (social media, web, digital ads) and print (brochures, posters, packaging), ensuring brand consistency and aesthetic quality.
  • Client Presentations and Idea Selling: Present creative ideas confidently to clients, conveying the strategic rationale behind each concept and addressing feedback to refine and enhance designs.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with copywriters, strategists, and project managers to bring cohesive, fully-realized concepts to life, ensuring alignment with brand goals and messaging.
  • Secondary Responsibilities – Creative Leadership and Brand Strategy:
    • Mentorship and Design Guidance: Provide support and guidance to junior designers, helping foster a creative and collaborative team culture.
    • Quality Control and Brand Consistency: Review all creative work for visual consistency, accuracy, and alignment with client brand standards, ensuring high-quality output. 
    • Innovation and Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep our creative approach fresh and relevant. 
    • Project Management and Deadlines: Manage multiple projects, prioritizing work and coordinating with teams to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality


Required Academic Background:


Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience as a creative director in advertising agencies.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • 7+ years in creative design, preferably in an advertising agency, used to its fast-paced setting and culture, with a strong portfolio that showcases expertise across digital and print media and an ability to tell stories through design.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Adobe Creative Suite Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, with strong skills in both layout and visual composition.
    • Digital and Print Proficiency: Extensive experience creating designs for digital and print, with a deep understanding of design principles for each medium.
    • Presentation and Storytelling Abilities: Skilled at developing and pitching ideas with a clear, compelling narrative that connects with both clients and audiences.
  • Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings, bringing a collaborative spirit and adaptability to fast-paced projects.
  • Client Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and adapt based on client and team feedback.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to layout, alignment, and brand consistency, ensuring polished, professional work.
