An established and innovative insurance provider is looking to appoint a Performance Marketing Team Lead to drive their commercial marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities

The Team Lead will oversee the development and optimisation of performance marketing channels such as paid search, social media, programmatic, and affiliate marketing. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the role blends strategic oversight with hands-on campaign management. Responsibilities include implementing data-driven personalisation strategies, enhancing the customer journey, and transitioning the team from traditional marketing to high-performance digital channels. The role also involves directly managing a multidisciplinary team of 5-8 members, overseeing internal operations, reducing reliance on external agencies, and collaborating on budget and strategy development.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in paid search, affiliate, email marketing, and other performance-driven channels, ideally within subscription-based or retail models. A strong understanding of Google Analytics, tracking, and campaign evaluation is essential. Demonstrated experience in building and coaching marketing teams and managing substantial budgets is crucial. While sector-specific experience is flexible, knowledge of retention strategies, customer lifetime value calculation, and data-driven marketing techniques is highly desirable.
