Job Requirements:

  • Experience: 2.5 years of experience in lead generation, outbound sales, or telemarketing, preferably in the hospitality or events industry. 
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively pitch event services and build rapport over the phone. 
  • Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and booking events in a hospitality setting. 
  • Technical Skills: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead Development: Research and build lists of prospective clients for event bookings, including corporate functions, private events, and social gatherings. 
  • Outbound Calling: Make outbound calls to potential clients, introducing the venue's event services and generating interest in booking events. 
  • Client Outreach: Proactively engage with leads through multiple channels including phone, email, and LinkedIn, to nurture relationships and drive event bookings. 
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on their event needs, budget, and timelines to ensure they meet criteria for booking. 
  • Booking Management: Schedule and coordinate site visits, consultations, and follow-up meetings with interested clients to secure event contracts. 
  • Database Management: Maintain and update a CRM system with accurate and detailed records of client interactions, ensuring all leads are tracked and followed up in a timely manner. 
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the events and sales teams to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and ensure a seamless booking process. 
  • Market Research: Stay updated on hospitality and event industry trends, as well as competitors, to identify new opportunities and refine lead-generation strategies. 
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, conversions, and performance against targets.
