At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.
The opportunity
To further support the growth of our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) finance integration team in Denmark, we are looking to hire an experienced Manager to join us in our Copenhagen office.
Working in the FAAS finance integration team, you will assist clients in developing and executing integration strategies within finance such as mergers, acquisitions, IPOs and carve-outs.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, no two projects will be the same, requiring you to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to solve complex issues. As a FAAS Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with clients and other EY service lines, collaborating across the firm to leverage our tools and expertise. Your ability to challenge the status quo and provide alternative viewpoints will be key to delivering successful outcomes for our clients.
Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for a colleague proficient in and hands on experience with managing Finance Integrations, and with experience in Accounting, IFRS, finance processes and controls.
You will deliver advice on complex finance integrations, support client needs, produce insightful reports, and engage with practice leaders to provide client insights. Additionally, you will participate in talent development and support project execution to ensure successful service delivery. Building relationships across the EY network and understanding our clients' needs and expectations will be key to your success.
To qualify for the role you must have
• At least 4-5 years of experience within audit, and CFO services or finance integrations
• Experience with Accounting, IFRS, finance processes and control
• Hard-working, solution-oriented and a team player with excellent communicative and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational, project management and analytical skills
• Professional proficiency in English
Ideally, you’ll also have
• Industry experience
• Professional proficiency in Danish or one of the other Nordic languages
What we look for
You are ambitious, outgoing and have a positive attitude. You see the solutions, potential and opportunities instead of problems. You thrive in a high-paced environment and working on more than one engagement at a time doesn’t scare you.
We seek versatile individuals who simplify complex issues, work well in teams and independently, as well as taking responsibility for their tasks and goals. You support colleagues and value building relationships with the team and clients. We're looking for more than technical finance integration skills; we want interesting people who can build relationships, negotiate, and think creatively. If you're confident, curious, and can solve complex problems, this role is for you.
What we offer
• Continuous learning: You’ll develop the mindset and skills to navigate whatever comes next.
• Success as defined by you: We’ll provide the tools and flexibility, so you can make a meaningful impact, your way.
• Transformative leadership: We’ll give you the insights, coaching and confidence to be the leader the world needs.
• Diverse and inclusive culture: You’ll be embraced for who you are and empowered to use your voice to help others find theirs.
• Flexible work environment: You will have the freedom to work from home or remotely according to your needs and preferences as well as the nature of the tasks – after alignment with your Team Lead.
