Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results driven Aftermarket Fleet Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing relationships will large fleets over 500 power vehicles. The position will be focused on the Refuse, Vocational, Linehaul and Transit markets. You will work closely with the fleet customer base to identify, spec and grow the Aftermarket parts business at the respective fleets.
The ideal candidate has strong sales skills and understanding of Aftermarket Fleet parts management and a passion for building long lasting fleet customer relationships. This is a remote role requiring up to 50% to 75% travel. Candidates must reside in Canada, ideally in the Toronto or Montreal area.
What you can look forward to as an Aftermarket Fleet Account Manager
- Prospect and Develop Leads: Identify and reach out to prospective fleet customers in the refuse, vocational, linehaul and transit markets.
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long term relationships with key decision makers to understand their fleets’ needs and provide solutions to maximize the ZF footprint at the respective fleet.
- Manage Accounts: Act as the main point of contact for fleet customers, providing high levels or ongoing support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales/product life cycle process.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on all industry trends, competitive offerings and customer needs to adapt sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Sales Reporting: Develop and maintain a pipeline of fleet “wins” for ZF to support the annual sales target for the ZF CV Aftermarket group.
- Cross Function collaboration: Work closely with our distribution sales team, customer fleet teams and OES Teams.
Your Profile as an Aftermarket Fleet Account Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in fleet sales.
- Proven sales experience, particularly in CV / transit fleet sales (3+ years exp.)
- Strong understanding of fleet / transit parts requirements and buying habits.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a fleet / transit focused mindset
- Ability to analyze fleet customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve fleet sales targets
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel up to 75%
