Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Coordinate with various departments to define critical business functions and recovery strategies.

Lead and manage recovery teams during disruptions.

Organize and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of recovery plans.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global events and changing circumstances that could impact business operations.

Train staff and management on their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disruption.

Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of recovery and continuity initiatives.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 22301).

Qualifications:

Proven experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of risk management and business continuity standards.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Experience conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses.

Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar are a plus.

BSc/BA in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
