Title: System Engineer

Industry Background: Knowledge of DO178, DO254, and DO160 standards.

Relocation expenses will be reimbursed by company.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience Range: 6 to 10 years

Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience

Education/Certification: BA or BS Degree in an engineering discipline. Masters or PhD preferred.

Knowledge:

Experience of system development following industry recognized processes (e.g. ARP4754)
Familiarity with DO178, DO254 and DO160
Knowledge of the general principles involved with the development of Transformer Rectifier
Units, Power Conditioning Units, DC-DC Converters, Magnetics, Battery Chargers, Landing
Gear Control and Indication Systems, Door and Slide Control and Indication Systems and Tire
Pressure Monitoring Systems.
Understands Systems Engineering principles, including interpreting and writing requirements,
system architectures and designs
Knowledge of requirements management, validation and verification.
Familiarity with multi physics modeling and simulation (i.e. Simulink)
Familiarity with circuit analysis and power supply topologies
Familiarity with Software development lifecycle

Skills/Abilities

· Working knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS) highly desirable
