Our opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional VP of Product Marketing to lead our global product marketing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative leader who can articulate our product's value proposition, drive market awareness, and accelerate our growth in a competitive landscape, while shaping the strategic direction of our core product portfolio across AI and automation technologies. 
 
This role requires building strong cross-functional partnerships with product, sales, solutions engineering, community & learning, and marketing teams to create long-term value for our customers and business. The successful candidate must possess the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, succinct messaging, bring a deep understanding of the AI and automation industries, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and have a proven track record of delivering high-impact marketing programs and product launches. 

Location: 

Remote role - ability to work within any U.S time zone. San Jose Bay Area, CA preferred.

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of product marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, with a focus on strategic pricing alignment
  • Developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of our products
  • Collaborating closely with product management, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to define product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation, leveraging insights from win-loss analysis
  • Leading market research initiatives to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategies, with a focus on delivering value to our customers 
  • Developing high-impact marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, battle cards, product pitch materials, demos, website content, and thought leadership content, highlighting competitive advantages
  • Driving the creation of compelling content assets such as datasheets, product videos, and blog posts to educate and engage prospects and customers, emphasizing the value proposition and ROI of our solutions
  • Partnering with the demand generation and campaigns teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and accelerate pipeline growth 
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and driving continuous improvement, including analysis of program impact on conversion rates and revenue growth

You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred 
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles 
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing software products to market, preferably in the automation or AI domain
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software markets, buyer personas, and purchasing dynamics 
  • This leader should possess strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact opportunities and approaches. Equally important, they should be hands-on, willing to dive into execution to test and refine their strategies

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $270,000 – $290,000 and outside of those locations is $260,000 – 280,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
