What You’ll Experience as a Senior Program Manager Consultant at TGG:

  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight for the overall program, ensuring alignment with client objectives and driving coordinated efforts to deliver outcomes on schedule and within scope.
  • Partnering with executive leadership to guide and influence project teams while facilitating collaboration between executives and their broader organizations, ensuring strategic priorities are effectively addressed.
  • Managing and overseeing all phases of the program, establishing and maintaining governance frameworks—including schedules, risk and issue management, roles and responsibilities, communication strategies, and resource planning—to ensure program success.
  • Facilitating strategic discussions and high-impact meetings with stakeholders and project teams to maintain focus on outcomes, resolve challenges, and ensure alignment on priorities and progress.
  • Ensuring adherence to program standards and governance, collaborating closely with project managers to promote consistency, accountability, and quality across workstreams.Managing program resources and budgets proactively, balancing competing priorities while anticipating and addressing emerging needs or constraints.

What You Will Work On:

  • Providing strategic leadership and accountability for the program and its dependent projects, ensuring successful execution from inception through transition to operations. Deliverables must align with program objectives, and key stakeholders should remain informed, engaged, and in agreement at every stage.
  • Establishing and leading program governance by defining robust controls, developing comprehensive program plans, and ensuring effective oversight. This includes setting standards and maintaining essential documentation, such as the program charter, communication plan, and governance framework.
  • Driving program execution and oversight of daily operations across projects and workstreams, with responsibility for managing budgets, mitigating risks, and resolving issues—or escalating them to senior stakeholders when necessary.
  • Strategically planning and managing dependent projects to achieve defined business outcomes, optimizing resource utilization, and balancing priorities across the portfolio.
  • Facilitating high-impact communication with client executives, stakeholders, and team members, using multiple channels to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the initiative.
  • Employing a data-driven and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making, ensuring delivery of measurable business and organizational outcomes.

  • Client stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to senior executives. You’ll ensure collaboration and maintain an exceptional business relationship with these stakeholders. 
  • Individual project managers through developing program scope, creating, managing deliverables, required resources, project schedules, and budget.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in consulting. Candidates with significant experience in a related field may also be considered, provided they demonstrate relevant capabilities and a strong understanding of client service.
  • Industry expertise in healthcare, retail, and / or insurance. 
  • The ability to lead programs rooted in integrity within our service lines of execution, technology, people, and strategy. 
  • You have deep experience in enterprise program management, project management, business analysis, change management, and/or process improvement methodologies and how they are used in business settings. You have knowledge of Agile techniques and experience in organizational design and/or business strategy development.
  • A desire to be intellectually curious, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and ability to effectively navigate the unique nature of each client and/ or scope of work.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation, facilitation, and communication (written and verbal) skills while demonstrating grounded confidence to your audience.
  • Certification in any of the following: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), and/or Prosci ADKAR.

Salaries vary and are dependent on considerations such as: experience and specific skills/certifications. The base plus target bonus total compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $160,000. Additional compensation beyond this range is available as a result of leadership and business development opportunities. Salary details are discussed openly during the hiring process. 

Work Environment:

TGG is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and has team members living in various locations across the United States. Our clients' onsite and travel requirements vary—some may require daily onsite visits, while others might be monthly, quarterly, or as needed. Because of this, our consultants must be adaptable, with the ability to travel and work both remotely and onsite. Each engagement has unique conditions, and we work collaboratively with both our client and team members regarding onsite and travel requirements.
